Overview of this campaign
The initiative had one main objective:
- to increase digital ARPU whilst at the same time driving digital subscription growth - to balance out revenue drop from declining print subscriptions
We also had two supporting objectives related to execution:
- achieving the main objective without substantial investment, but rather uitlising what we had at hand
- testing and executing an iterative process where cross-functional collaboration and customer centric thinking was at the heart
Results for this campaign
Campaign results:
- The initiative resulted in almost 12 000 bundled customers in less than a year, which is almost 10% of our total digital customer base
- Our under 30 offering of +GP has doubled our subscribers under the age of 30.
- We achieved 1.7x digital revenue growth for our local titles piloted compared to the titles that were not part of the pilot group (Non-piloted titles +18% YoY digital revenue growth, Piloted titles +48% YoY digital revenue growth)
