Citing privacy concerns of consumers and regulators, Google announced plans to phase-out support for third-party cookies in its Chrome browser. It’s a big change, as this technology is a backbone of today’s online display advertising and Chrome is the world’s most popular web browser. Recently, Google has delayed the change until late 2023, giving itself more time to discuss the alternative technologies with ad companies, publishers, and regulators. The proposals, known as the Privacy Sandbox, promise to let advertisers display relevant online ads in a privacy-compliant way, and continue funding content on the web. This Webinar provides members direct access to Google’s experts working on user privacy and changes to Chrome, and an opportunity to get a first-hand update.
