Four appointed to new positions on INMA European Board

ANTWERP (9 November 2018) – The European Division of the International News Media Association (INMA) announced new members of its Board of Directors and Executive Committee.

Appointed president for a two-year term is Gerold Riedmann, managing director and editor-in-chief at Russmedia in Austria. He succeeds Trude Margel, managing director of Itera Gazette in Norway, who will continue as a member of the board and its executive committee.

Nina Ranke, managing director business media at Ringier Axel Springer in Switzerland, has been named vice president of the European Division Board, a title she shares with Niklas Jonason, CEO of Stadsporten Citygate in Sweden.

Joining the European Division Board for three-year terms are:

  • Eimear Moran, media solutions director, The Irish Times, Ireland.
  • Melina Lohmann, innovations manager and customer entertainment officer, NWZ Mediengruppe, Germany.
