250 small and medium-sized businesses that have not advertised in VN before have now committed for a one-year-package. First step was the qualification of the potential customers through structured questions.Over 1000 Interviews were conducted by our ad sales team to learn more about our potential customers who have not used our marketing channels for their success. We invited those potential customers to our event “How to raise brand awareness”, more than 300 business owners agreed. Within one week we had 28 events in six cities. An entertaining presentation explained how brands are created, we showed video testimonials by our existing customers – and we showed how local businesses can profit from our offerings throughout the year.
Results for this campaign
The results had been more than 300 sold packages during the presentation week and 4 weeks afterwards. Our regional sales team achieved an revenue of up to 20% of the total regional ad revenue. We have more pre-booked revenue than ever in our books. And regional ad revenue in Vorarlberg is growing again!
The concept helped the regional sales team to generated revenue growth over the past three years in advertising revenue against all trends and benchmarks. In 2018, we saw the highest advertising-revenue in total for the last 10 years, possible through the VN Brand Initiative for SMBs!
