Travel instructions:

  • Planes: If traveling by airplane, fly to Brussels International Airport (BRU).
  • Trains: High-speed Thalys and regular trains get you to Antwerp Central-Station from many places in Europe. Check here.
  • Cars: If you are driving to Antwerp, there are many underground, paid parking garages in the city centre. If you are staying at the Antwerp Hilton, park at Parking Groenplaats which is connected to the hotel. An alternative cheaper option: use the ‘Park & Ride’ outside of town and ride into town on the tram.

Transit from Brussels International Airport to Antwerp city center:

  • Train: A direct train to Antwerp is available every 30 minutes to the city centre of Antwerp and will cost about €12. The train ride takes 30 minutes. The Belgian Train is underneath the airport terminal. It is easy to book a ticket on-site, and you may also pre-purchase your train ticket by clicking here.
  • Uber: Uber operates in Belgium. From Brussels International Airport, UberX fare is approximately €88 to €97. Uber Black or Van is approximately €122 to €134. Journey time typically is 30-60 minutes.
  • Taxi: Taxis are readily available from the airport to take you to Antwerp. The fare is roughly €120. Journey time typically is 30-60 minutes.
  • Bus: Take the Airport Express Bus which takes 45 minutes and costs €10.

The European News Media Conference venue will be held at the Antwerp Hilton, Groenplaats 32, 2000 Antwerpen. Meanwhile, the study tour will depart and arrive daily at the Antwerp Hilton.
