INMA's Media Subscriptions Week is a three-pronged exploration of the art and science behind acquiring and retaining digital subscribers: a summit, a study tour, and workshops. Media Subscriptions Week is part of INMA's Readers First Initiative. Our aim in 2020 is to develop a growth playbook for media subscriptions through brainstorming and showcasing new ideas, toolkits, and road maps.

After two wildly popular Media Subscriptions Summits in London and Stockholm in 2018-2019, INMA brings Summit 3.0 to New York on Thursday and Friday, February 27-28. This year, the two-day Summit for 200+ people will look at best practices in acquisition and retention for global leaders, dynamic paywalls (segmentation), soft vs. hard paywalls, the pricing behind bundling and unbundling, customer data platforms, subscriptions vs. memberships, flow optimisation from registration to purchase, and best practices in onboarding.

Augment your Media Subscriptions Week experience by joining a pre-Summit study tour of media companies, tech providers, and thought leaders in Manhattan focused on perfecting reader revenue. This smaller group of study tour participants will visit 6+ companies over two days in a hands-on deeper briefing into the practicalities behind media subscriptions. Nothing makes a subject come to life more than visiting the offices of innovators and peers. This tour for 30+ executives will be Tuesday and Wednesday, February 25-26, and it requires a separate registration.
Kickstart your INMA experience with a series of Wednesday afternoon mini-workshops: A Subscription Accelerator for beginners and Expert Tutorials on Engagement for all participants. The Tutorials will segment participants based on backgrounds ranging from beginners to experts. The Wednesday afternoon workshops are optional and are part of your Summit registration.
