Data - the fuel that powers growth.

About This Study Tour

Salt Lake City Study Tour Icon

Salt Lake City is rated the fourth best city for tech jobs in the United States. CNBC calls Utah's Silicon Slopes the high-tech mecca.

Who knew?

Join INMA on a study tour of Salt Lake City, where we’ll spend two to three hours with each company, learning from their executive team exactly how they use data to optimize their company’s performance. We’ll go through a comprehensive review of their company’s growth trajectory, past, current and future, while leaving plenty of time for a spirited question and answer session.

The goal is simple: show the resources, companies, and strategies of news media and tech companies available on the Silicon Slopes. This study tour is designed to give you the opportunity to experience the culture and technology first-hand while learning from your peers and study tour stops. Learn about social media mining, the opportunities for news media within home automation, the new definition of intelligent marketing, along with Big Data veins of data visualization, advertising business intelligence, and data management.

It's time to look outside the obvious players and cities and learn from the companies that are leading the charge in tech for news media, historical record, Big Data, and smart marketing.

Beyond FANG (Facebook, Amazon, Netflix, Google), there are hundreds of companies that are transforming how we do business or how we could be doing business. Learn what your peers in the news media industry are working on, and experience what these agile and interesting companies can do.

The pace of the tour will be brisk, maximizing our time with each company and comparing insights and strategies throughout. The direct ROI from this study tour is for attendees to return to their companies with a list of action items to use their existing data to fuel audience and revenue growth.

The complete agenda will be available by July 31.
