Multimedia coverage of the Conference
A multimedia team will cover the conference on an INMA.org blog. The blog will include summaries of the presentations, speakers' interviews and delegate polls. the multimedia team will also help steer up live coverage of the conference in Twitter and Facebook.
The team consists of students from The Centre of Science Berlin/Hamburg.

Hotel

Internet access
Internet access is free for conference delegates. Internet access in the lobby, hotel rooms and in the conference room is wireless.

Languages
The INMA European Newsmedia Conference 2013 will be presented in English. Participants can ask questions in French, German, Dutch and Spanish.

Travel
Participants of the INMA European Newsmedia Conference 2013 can choose between two airports.
Tegel Airport and Schönefeld Airport. For information on both airports, click here.
    From Berlin Tegel Airport
    25 minutes by taxi or
    40 minutes, TXL bus to S+U Brandenburger Tor
    S1, S2, or S25 to Potsdamer Platz
    At Potsdamer Platz take the exit to Stresemannstrasse and follow the signs to Potsdamer Platz Arcaden and Alte Potsdammer Strasse. Then follow Alte Potsdammer Strasse until you reach Eichhornstrasse and turn right.

    From Berlin Schönefeld Airport
    45 minutes by taxi
    The Airport Express leaves from S-Bahn station Schönefeled every 30 minutes to Alexanderplatz station. Then change to the U2 underground line, direction Ruhleben, get off at Potsdamer Platz.

    From Hauptbahnhof / Main Train Station
    10 minutes by taxi
    Take the Bus M41 direction Sonnenallee/Baumschulenstrasse and get off at Potsdamer Platz. Please click here to view the Berlin Metro Map (Potsdamer Platz is located in the centre of the map).

Driving Instructions

A2 from Hanover and A9 from Leipzig / Nürnberg:
At the intersection of Dreieck Potsdam and Dreieck Werder take the Berliner Ring A10 motorway direction Dresden
At the Drewitz intersection take the A115 direction Berlin-Zentrum
At the Dreieck Funkturm intersection follow signs to Hamburg on A100 city motorway
Take the Spandauer Damm exit and turn right direction Charlottenburg
Pass Charlottenburg Palace and continue straight ahead on Otto-Suhr-Allee, direction Zentrum, to the roundabout at Ernst-Reuter-Platz
Take the second exit right into Strasse des 17 Juni to the roundabout at Victory Column
Follow the first exit right into Hofjägerallee
Turn left into Tiergartenstrasse
Turn right into Ben-Gurion-Strasse
Cross the Potsdamer Strasse and go straight on to Eichornstrasse
To reach the public parking garage, with direct access to Grand Hyatt Berlin, you need to turn left from "Eichhornstrasse" into the next upcoming street, called "Voxstrasse". Then turn left again into "Ludwig-Beck-Strasse". The drive of the parking garage is situated on the left hand side.

A12 from Frankfurt / Oder and A13 from Dresden:
At the Schönefelder Kreuz intersection take the Berliner Ring A10 motorway direction Potsdam Turn off at the Rangsdorf exit on national street B96, direction Berlin-Tempelhof, and pass Tempelhof Airport
Keep following the B96 on Tempelhofer Damm and Mehringdamm
At Hallesches Ufer turn left direction Charlottenburg / Tiergarten
On Reichpietschufer leave the B96, turning right into Linkstrasse and left into Eichhornstrasse

A24 from Hamburg:
At the Havelland intersection turn off for the Berliner Ring A10 motorway direction Berlin-Zentrum
At the Oranienburg intersection take direction Berlin-Zentrum to A111
At the Charlottenburg intersection follow signs to Zentrum on the A100 city motorway
Take the Spandauer Damm exit, turn left direction Charlottenburg and follow directions above (A2 from Hanover-point 4)
Registration fees and payments due
Registration for events must be in writing via the online registration form. Payment of the registration is due upon receipt of the invoice. Payment must be received by the early bird registration deadline to qualify for early bird registration prices; otherwise, the early bird registration fee becomes the full price of registration!

Cancellation, withdrawal by delegate
Cancellation is possible in writing and will be accepted until 60 days before the conference (this is not applicable for registrations from special offers). However there will be a handling fee of 15%. We regret that we will be compelled to retain the full participation fee for cancellations later than 60 days before the conference. It is possible at all times to send a “substitute participant” at no extra cost on condition that INMA is informed in writing 2 days at the latest in advance stating the name of the substitute person.

Cancellation of event
INMA can cancel the event for an important reason such as: in case of too few participants, cancellation or illness of a speaker, hotel closure or Act of God. In case of too few participants, cancellation can be up to three weeks before the start of the event. In all other cases of cancellation due to an important reason as well as in the event of necessary programme changes, INMA will notify the participants as far in advance as possible.
