INMA broadcasts 2020 Global Media Awards winners

On Tuesday, June 2, the International News Media Association (INMA) announced first-place winners in the Global Media Awards competition in a first-ever broadcast at and other platforms. The broadcast is brought to you by the Google News Initiative.

Postponed in late April in Paris because of the COVID-19 crisis, INMA announced 32 first-place winners across 16 categories and two audience groups — including a just-in-time category focused on media companies’ coronavirus community response.

Jamaican TV host and media entrepreneur Terri-Karelle Reid emceed the announcement, along with commentary from Google’s Chrissy Towle and INMA’s Earl Wilkinson.
