Digital strategy at Ekstra Bladet stays flexible to match user needs




Ekstra Bladet-Politiken is a Danish company with more than 100 years of history. 

Despite its traditional roots, Ekstra Bladet is serious about content digitisation, according to Anders Ovesen, head of mobile sales for the company.

Ovesen showed three different videos to demonstrate the company’s mobile advertising approaches.

The digitisation has been a success for the company and has resulted in high levels of audience interactivity. There are various ways to allow users to interact and different ways to motivate them, Ovesen said.

He showed one advertisement that connected viewers on a social platform, where they choose what they view: “You need to spend time exploring what this mystery is all about.”
