A YouTube channel for every media brand





Grzegorz Piechota, head of editorial development from Agora, Poland, continued Brainsnacks by playing his own version of “Who wants to be a Millionaire in Online Video?” with the audience.

After the crowd raised their hands to show whom they believed was the main character of the most-watched videos in the world on YouTube in 2014, they were shocked.

The answer: Spiderdog.

The video of Spiderdog was created by YouTube user SA Wardega — who has three million subscribers to his channel.

Piechota suggested people should create YouTube channels with their brands.

The biggest difference between Wardega’s channel and TV broadcasting is the age of the viewers.

Piechota questioned what it would be like if 180 people created channels like his: “For years, it was them who disrupted us, and for the first time maybe we can be disrupters ourselves.”
