A time to unwind, in an elegant setting


Nearly 200 INMA attendees sat down in an elegant, dimly lit ballroom over dinner and drinks to unwind at the conclusion of INMA’s 81st Annual World Congress. Dressed in formal attire, attendees engaged in a steady hum of conversation that no doubt covered the hot-button topics discussed over the past few days, but a mixture of good food, good wine and smooth jazz relaxed the atmosphere.

The gala featured the recognition of the 2011 INMA award winners presented intermittently between the three-course meal provided by the chefs of the Sheraton Hotel and Towers. Guests were treated to salad and dinner rolls to start, lemon thyme roasted chicken breast and a mix of seasonal vegetables as the main course, and a pistachio and hazelnut tart topped with caramel and Tahitian vanilla for dessert.

The awards presented throughout the event covered a wide range of categories with the highlights being the Silver Shovel and Best in Show awards. Outgoing INMA president Michael Phelps touted the night as a time to get inspired and celebrate the success of their peers.

Phelps toasted: “To good friends, a great conference, and even better times ahead.”
