The 2021 Digital News Report has just been released. This years report offers new insights about digital news consumption and reveals how COVID-19 has transformed the news industry around the world. It is based on a YouGov survey of more than 92,000 online news consumers in 46 markets, including India, Indonesia, Thailand, Nigeria, Colombia, and Peru for the first time.

In a members-only Webinar on Wednesday, Nic Newman, senior research associate at Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism, will summarise and present the findings of the report, covering topics such as trust in media, pay models, diversity, and engaging with younger readers post-COVID.
