INMA launches Premium Videos for news media training, development expansion

The International News Media Association (INMA) has created a Premium Videos section of our Web site to allow for greater access to training and development.

With COVID-19 threats have also come COVID-19 opportunities: As INMA has dramatically expanded its virtual conferences and virtual master classes, members are consuming the association’s video content in new and unpredictable ways.

One rising suggestion from members: Take the recordings from individual, digestible two- and three-hour modules and make them available for purchase as a long-tail offering.

That is precisely what we have done with the Premium Videos initiative, with purchases stored in your account at INMA for as long as you like.

In fact, INMA has borrowed lessons from member media companies during the pandemic: There is livestreaming and displaced viewing … then there is long-tail viewing.

Virtual conferences and virtual master classes will continue through 2021, so this library of Premium Videos will continue to build.
