The GMA offers 15 categories under the broad topics of new brands, platform excellence, audience development, advertising sales, and innovation. Eight categories are new this year: data analytics, print, audio, digital products, digital subscriptions, advertising, corporate culture, and talent retention.

The Global Media Awards give news media companies an opportunity to shine a light on excellence inside their companies, motivate staff and stakeholders, and ultimately benchmark their efforts against the world’s best. Companies will be judged against others of similar sizes.

“The INMA Global Media Awards greatly echoes what’s happening in the news media industry on news brands and audience development, platform excellence, innovation, advertising, and talent retention,” said Raquel Meikle, GMA manager for INMA. “This is your chance to show what your team achieved in 2019.”

Meikle’s advice for news media entries is to stick with the CORE: Creativity, Originality, Results, and Enthusiasm.

INMA winners will be announced during the Global Media Awards Dinner on Tuesday, April 28, at the historic Opera Ballroom at InterContinental Paris Le Grand.

Deadline to enter is this Friday, January 24. Click here to review categories and submit entries.
