Schibsted Tech Polska is the developmental hub for 18 of Schibsted’s companies. Not only do different departments in these different companies need to work together, they must be on the same page.
“In many ways our location in Poland has become a meeting place for these different companies,” says John Einar Sandvand, chief communications offer at Schibsted Tech Polska.
How does Schibsted continue to innovate so well? By failure and cannibalising its own product.
“You definitely need to be willing to take risks,” Sandvand says. “And you need to dare to fail. It has to be a culture where it’s allowed to fail now and then.”
