INMA 30 Under 30: Mansi Panchamia of Mid-Day Infomedia

On September 17, INMA awarded 30 young professionals around the world with its debut “30 Under 30” award as part of its Young Professionals Initiative. This is the 14th in a series of 30 features about these impressive rising media stars who are shaping our industry. 

After graduate school, Mansi Panchamia started her career as a management trainee in brand communications at Radio City, then was transferred to Mid-Day Infomedia Limited, a sister company of Radio City.

Her first project was to revamp Sunday Mid-Day, including the launch of the Mid-Day Digital Tabloid — part of the company’s move from print-only to digital-first during the early days of the pandemic.

“When the newspaper was completely transformed to a digital tabloid, I realised that this is an opportunity to drive change. I was responsible for the strategic alliances through which Mid-Day was able to garner a lot of subscribers.”

Mansi believes, and wants to be part of, a nationwide shift.

“Adapting to change and experimenting with new technology is something that the Indian media industry is struggling with. It is time for the media industry to have a 360-degree makeover.”
