In September, INMA awarded 30 young professionals around the world with its fifth “30 Under 30” award as part of its Young Professionals Initiative. This is the 21st in a series of 30 features about the impressive rising media stars who are shaping our industry.

Since joining Telegraph Media Group in April 2022, Ben Rubinsztein has introduced new ideas that have revitalised the role of product at The Telegraph.
As the head of the product function for the Web site, Ben manages and defines the product road map, working closely with stakeholders to prioritise and deliver key features.
His ability to build strong relationships across product, editorial, and engineering departments has driven the Web site’s evolution.
From the moment he joined the team, Ben has brought a fresh approach to product. He led the launch of the Telegraph Money channel, and his success with that subsequently informed the rollout of the Telegraph Health channel. Ben’s hard work and strategic vision have significantly enhanced the Web site’s offerings.
His leadership skills are evident in his ability to guide diverse teams and make strategic decisions. He has earned a reputation for taking an innovative approach, introducing new ideas and impressive critical thinking skills. Despite this being his first role in the media industry, Ben has quickly developed in-depth industry knowledge and shows adaptability and resilience within a rapidly changing environment.
During his time at the Telegraph, Ben has exhibited strong communication skills, both written and verbal, which is essential for leadership. He has shown strategic vision alongside a deep interest in analytics, as evidenced by his involvement in several long- and short-term strategic planning exercises.
Through all the challenges that come with working in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment, Ben has shown himself to be adaptable and resilient. This has led to him being given additional responsibilities. Despite the stress that comes with those added responsibilities, he consistently maintains his composure and provides the strategic, thoughtful guidance his team is looking for.
