INMA Elevate Africa 2026



The Elevate Africa Initiative is a package of INMA benefits designed to elevate news media professionals in Africa through regional training, empowering young professionals via mentoring, and identifying the next generation of media leaders.

In 2026, the Elevate Africa Initiative will:

  • Educate through 3 topical summits: Conduct three virtual summits focused on revenue, newsroom & tech, and audience development.
  • Elevate young professionals: The Africa Elevate Scholarship will focus on professional mentorship, navigating the corridors of power, understanding the business of media, and global best practices.

Since 2020, INMA has conducted free virtual summits and Webinars that have attracted more than 3,000 media professionals from throughout the continent. INMA aims to elevate learnings as media digitally transforms.
