Networking

The INMA/OPA European Conference will offer unparalleled professional networking opportunities:

Who attends?

INMA/OPA conference delegates have one thing in common: They are typically the designated “change agent” at their company. They are typically senior to middle managers in marketing, sales, new media, online, and circulation departments at European newspapers and media companies.

Opening reception

The Opening Reception is the ideal opportunity to meet your fellow delegates at the start of the conference. The Opening Reception to the INMA/OPA European Conference will be hosted by the City of Krakow and held in the Medieval City Hall, in the centre of Krakow. This Palace of the Wielopolski family was built in the 16th century and since 1864 has served as a seat for the Krakow city authorities. Participants will be welcomed by Jacek Majchrowski, mayor of the City of Krakow.

Thursday social dinner Agora

A Thursday evening social dinner will be held at the Salt Mines of Wieliczka — 125 meters below ground. Hosted by the Malopolska region and that Participants will be welcomed by Marek Nawara, marshall of the Malopolska region.
Buses depart the hotel at 18:30. The last few years of the Europe Cnferences we opted to hold the Gala Dinner on Thursday night instead of Friday night to give every one a chance to join; including those who fly back home early on Friday afternoon after the conference concludes!

Trade show

Throughout the conference's working programme, many opportunities exist to network with peers. An intimate trade show features lounge areas in which you can do business, as well as meeting space. Extended coffee breaks provide ideal opportunities to exchange business cards and contacts. We have purposely not scheduled lunch programming so delegates can take full advantage of networking.
