Beta Room

The INMA Research committee has carefully sought out the best programme for their bi-annual Research Seminar.
In times of crisis, news media companies often question the research they are doing. The research department is often the first causalty of any cost-cutting measures undertaken. During this seminar we'll be looking at:

  • Presentation of the best 3 cases how you can conduct research at low cost
  • Presentation of the results from a 2010 survey how research is being done and sold within the newspaper companies. With cases how it is organised at specific companies
  • Advertising pricing is key on the internet, we’ll present new findings from research done in the US
  • Advertising models in print: pay in function of the impact of the ad, a new research based tariff model in Belgium and The Netherlands
  • Multimedia research: different research on multimedia use, brand value, tracking for regional newspapers, etc.
  • English spoken. No interpretation.
