Web services on a mobile device are called "WAP," which stands for wireless application protocol. In the WAP format, web pages are simpler because the devices have smaller screens and memories than computers. Web services on mobile devices tend to be text-intensive, though the new devices (smart phones, especially) have colour screens and images. Most mobile devices made after 2001 are WAP-enabled.
In the box to the right are some of the major wireless service providers. Feel free to go to your provider to see if they support the mobile web via WAP.
INMA Mobile is available only on WAP platform mobile devices. We choose to display the features above because they are timely and can be displayed with minimum images and text -- a requirement with the mobile Internet. INMA Mobile can be invaluable if you want to look something up or follow breaking news when you are out and about.
