The INMA/OPA Europe Conference September 29-October 1 in Krakow, Poland, has already generated 280 delegates. The conference focuses on creative ways newsmedia companies are overcoming their structural challenges during persistently tough economic times.
The conference features keynote presentations from senior executives with European publishers Mecom and Schibsted, as well as a top digital executive with Gannett Digital Media in the United States and the chief executive of one of India's largest newspapers. Presentations by Google, the Sunday Times, and Gruppo l'Espresso will explore the digital crunch and opportunities for publishers.
Other features include pre-conference seminars on sports marketing, research, and local media.
